Haunted Machines were invited by Kara Chin to present during her exhibition at Humber Street Gallery on our research into computer graphics.

Haunted Machines tell the story of how we came to build our virtual future. Through various technological and social decisions, we have chosen what was worth simulating, modelling and rendering and these decisions form the building blocks of our digital spaces. While exploring the alternative worlds found in video games, film and interactive environments, this talk will introduce the landscape of digital images and objects and how they’re being used to shape our future as much as how they are shaped by our past beliefs and values.
